Track status

It appears that all the track work is now complete. Bleacher planks are replaced, speakers are installed, walls are painted, tin is up on back of bleachers, lights are fixed, pit work is completed, weeds are burned, our score trailer is moved and wired, new red-green-yellow light installed at flag stand, track is bladed and prepped, garbage is picked up, turn 4 wall is completed.

Now all we need is a bunch of race cars to come out on Friday night and see how fast they are.

Battle Mountain and Winnemucca add Joint Point Championship to schedule

Winnemucca Regional Raceway and Battle Mountain Raceway have put together a Joint Point Championship. You can now run for Winnemucca Points, Battle Mountain Points, and Joint Points. Your Joint points will not affect your individual track points, and will be kept separate. This is another opportunity to win a championship. Titan Monster Truck Returning to Winnemucca Raceway

Titan will take a break from the Monster Jam series and spend August 9th and 10th, 2013 at Winnemucca Raceway. Bring the kids, it's going to be a great show!

W.R.R.A and D.C.O.N.N Meet

The 2013 Western States Dwarf Car Event will be held at Winnemucca Regional Raceway June 13th thru the 15th. This will be the first race of the season for the WSDCA. It was agreed that all proceeds from the event will be put back into the track for future improvements. The WRRA and the DCONN groups will work together to put on the event. Expected car counts could easily top 80 cars.

W.C.V.A. APPROVES FUNDING

The W.C.V.A. approved a total of $19,000.00 in funding for the 2013 W.R.R.A. racing season. The funds will be distributed into a new P.A. system, new aluminum bleacher planks, advertising, Dwarf Car National Event and fuel for equipment.
